SafeAuto Insurance currently has 18,000+ combined social media followers. TMC has built their social presence from the ground up. The state minimum auto insurance company has over 13,900 Facebook “Likes” and 3,160 Twitter followers.
The Media Captain also runs SafeAuto’s annual “Do The Jingle” competition, a nation-wide competition searching for SafeAuto’s next commercial star. The contest drew over 200 contestants and generated over 4.5 million votes to their website last year, which resulted in the highest amount of visits to the SafeAuto website in the company’s history AND publicity from news stations including Fox News, ABC News, CBS News, and The Sun News in Myrtle Beach. TMC helped to leverage SafeAuto’s sponsorship with the UFC by creating a compelling social media contest and creative video content. The UFC® has one of the largest Facebook audiences with over 9 million “Likes.” The “VIP at the UFC®” contest gave a lucky fan airfare, hotel, tickets and a private meet and greet with UFC® fighter, Clay Guida, before one of his fights. In order to be eligible to win, fans had to “Like” SafeAuto Insurance on Facebook.
The Media Captain created and organized the entire campaign. Including videos in the contest has led to more then 10,000 views to the official UFC website. Thousands of fans posted and entered the contest on both SafeAuto and UFC Facebook pages. SafeAuto’s social media presence continues to go beyond many of their competitors and “VIP at the UFC” Contest is one of the most successful social media campaigns that SafeAuto runs annually.

Amedisys, a national provider of home health and hospice care, was introducing a new program to their 15,000 employees throughout the country. Amedisys hoped to provide a video that would get employees excited about the program, while also training them on the program’s most important features.
