Sponsorship Activation Campaign with the Cleveland Browns

As a marketing agency, there are certain campaigns that come our way that we instantly salivate over.

This was the case when Where I’m From, an Ohio based apparel company, approached our agency regarding a sponsorship activation campaign with the Cleveland Browns.

“We wanted to expand our footprint in the Cleveland market,” said Ryan Napier, co-founder of Where I’m From. “We already have 5 mall locations in Northeast Ohio. We knew by becoming a partner with the Browns, we could further increase our awareness to Browns loyalists and the people of Cleveland. We needed The Media Captain to create a digital strategy to make Cleveland sports fans aware of Where I’m From and ultimately, increase our sales.”

After numerous brainstorming sessions between Where I’m From and The Media Captain, the campaign was broken down into a 3 tier approach, which included public relations, social media marketing and landing page design and development.


Cleveland.com ran an online feature of the partnership, which was later published in the Sunday edition of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Millions of Browns fans were introduced to the Where I’m From clothing line and sent to a custom landing page.
